ABOUT THE FREE INFORMATION SESSION ON BUYING PROPERTY IN OAXACA! 

We are a multilingual team, fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Italian. While the presentation will be conducted in English and Spanish, we are also able to deliver it in French and Italian if needed.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

  • Discover your options as a foreigner for buying property in the restricted zone, whether through a fideicomiso (bank trust) or a Mexican corporation, and find out which option works best for you! 
  • We’ll share some due diligence tips for the property (whether it’s already built or a presale project)
  • We’ll share some due diligence tips on real estate agents/brokers, especially if they’re representing both the seller and the buyer. This often happens when you go to open houses or respond to real estate agent/broker ads. Definitely something to keep in mind! 
  • Learn about the basics of the Official Mexican Standard Norm “NOM-247-SE-2021” , which covers commercial practices, the requirements for property advertising, and the key elements that should be included in related contracts. All suppliers who are subdividers, builders, developers, and any other individuals involved in the sale of properties intended for residential use must comply with this regulation. 
  • If you’ve already bought a property and are dealing with hidden defects or similar issues, we’ll give you some basic guidance on your options to handle the situation. 
  • If you own or are considering owning a condominium or a home in a residential complex with a condominium regime, it is essential to be aware of the important information related to this system. Although living in co-ownership in Mexico is not inherently complicated, it is important to be aware of the rules and commitments involved to avoid conflicts and ensure harmonious living.
